Hello children of God…I pray all is well on your end this grace-filled day! I want to ask you a question family. Have you ever been in the presence of someone that cursed like a seasoned sailor, belligerently gossiped about someone, drank alcohol profusely, professed that they were living a homosexual or fornicating lifestyle with so much pride and absolutely no conviction? Well family, you can either relate to being around someone like this or you may have at one point even been that person-TRUTH TIME! LORD HELP US DEMONSTRATE YOUR POWER THROUGH YOUR HOLY SPIRIT & BOLDLY PROCLAIM THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST!!
Power by definition: the ability to direct or influence the behavior of others or the course of events.
2 Timothy 1:7
7 For God hath not given to us the Spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
1 Corinthians 2:4-5
, 4 and my speech and my message were not in plausible words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, 5 so that your faith might not rest in the wisdom of men [c] but in the power of God.
1 Corinthians 4:20
. 20 For the kingdom of God does not consist in talk but in power.
As I walked this journey with the Lord I yearn to see his power manifest within the body of Christ, including myself. These are just a few scriptures I have found in his Word along with the definition of power. We know it doesn’t return void! Meditate on his word. Let it sinc in your heart and mind so that you will walk in it. His word will manifest in your life. Lets make a promise today to take God at his word.
Whenever my children come to me and say they are afraid, we recite God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of love power and a sound mind and perfect love casts out all fear! God has given us these things freely! God instructs us to ask for wisdom. Again lets walk in the free gifts of God today.
